Staffing

  • Coordinates with coaches in respective pools
  • Minimum one manager per pool
    • Must be filled before the rosters are posted for the pools
  • Minimum one manager per team
    • Must be filled before we return from the holiday break

Monthly staff meetings

  • Set and announce monthly meeting dates, times, and locations
  • Sets agenda for meetings
  • Facilitates meetings
  • They should schedule and run informational meetings
    • Immediately after tryouts (early September)

      • Team Meetings
      • Organizational Procedures (phone trees, cell phone lists, etc.)
      • Website Content Management Training
    • Before indoor season begins (late October)
      • Roster Procedures
      • Player Pass Procedures
      • New Player Tryout Procedures
    • Before final rosters (late November or early December)
      •  Tournament registration procedures
      • Coach Travel Procedures
    • After Holiday break (early January)
      • Outdoor Fields Procedures
    • Before Upstate League meeting (mid February)
      • Outdoor League Procedures
      • Upstate Scheduling Guidance
    • Before outdoors begins (late March)
    • Before the end of the year (free dinner!)

New staff orientation meeting

  • Start up kit and tutorial for new managers

  • Emial and phone number will be available to team managers for assistance in duties

Manuals to the web

  • Responsible for posting website pages describing details of manager duties
  • Edit existing manuals

Communications

  • Email distribution lists
  • Provide player information from the pool to the managers
  • Manager web content in manager resource

End of the Season Report 

  • Prepare report for the board of directors
    • All contact information for venues secured
    • Positive and negatives about committee and work performed
    • Suggestions for changes, improvements, additions, etc
