Training for Sub Users

Who Needs Training?

  • Managers - team pages and player profile pages
  • College Advisors - player profile pages
  • Board of Directors - board of director resource page
  • Committee Members (some) - manager coordinator, fields, etc. 
 

Conduct Training Sessions

  • Managers Meetings
    • Coordinate training of website use at monthly manager meetings
  • Separate Training Classes
    • Secure a computer lab for training
    • Conduct training exercises

  •  Email and phone number will be available to anyone in the club who is authorized to edit content on the web. 
 

Permissions

  • Team Pages - updates and maintains the content edit permissions for the team pages and the managers
  • Player Profiles - manages the manipulation of the permissions on the profile pages when needed
 

Preparations

  • Team Pages - cleans out and sets up the tempalte pages for each team in the club
  • Player Profiles - helps transfer players up age groups as years pass and assists new players in creating a profile
 

Content Editing

  • All pages in the site
    • Look for errors
    • Look for inappropriate content
    • Keep pages up to date
  • Develop new ideas for site
 

End of the Season Report

 
  • Prepare report for the board of directors
    • All contact information for venues secured
    • Positive and negatives about committee and work performed
    • Suggestions for changes, improvements, additions, etc
