Recap of parent meeting on 2/17/08.

·         Tom is pleased with the development of the girls to this point. They are moving forward, and are continuing to make soccer plays with the ball. There has been a decline in the erratic kicks up the field with now intended purpose of a soccer play attached.

·         Tom and I will attend the upstate premier League scheduling for our league games on March 2^nd. Shortly after I will release a schedule for them games.

·         We will attend the Northern Ohio Cup. The dates are April 18, 19 and 20. I will call to set a group of rooms for us at the hotel. Please let me know who will be attending asap so I can call.

·         We will also attend the GLA in Erie on May 10^th. This is a one day event for us to get in and play some games and get home without the overnight cost.

·         We will have the festivals with Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo. That will be a one day event with 3 games in that day. Dates are on our schedule.

 CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

 Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. If you anticipate a large number of early arrivals or late departures, arrangements for appropriate baggage hold must be made with our Guest Services Department before the group arrival date.

RESERVATION METHOD

INDIVIDUAL CALL IN

Reservations will be made and held on an individual basis. Please advise your attendees to call (330) 666-5050 to make their reservations and be certain to identify the name of the group Buffalo United U-10 Girls in order to receive the group rate. The hotel will accept reservations until the Group’s cut-off date April 4, 2008. Reservations received after the Group’s cut-off date will be honored on an availability basis and may be at a higher rate.

BILLING METHOD

 INDIVIDUAL PAY OWN

Individuals will be responsible for their own room, tax and incidental charges. All charges are to be paid by the attendee at check-out.

COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST

A continental breakfast including such items as bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice and milk is included complimentary for each guest. Breakfast is served Monday-Friday 6am-10am and Saturday and Sunday 6am-11am. 

CANCELLATION

Should your group have to be cancelled, we must receive notification three days prior to the check-in date. If you fail to notify the hotel within the time limit you will be subject to one nights room and tax for each room being held.

 CUT OFF DATE

Reservations will be held until the cut-off date of April 4, 2008. On the cut-off date, the unused portion of the rooms will be released for sale to other groups or individuals.

PARKING

There is free parking space surrounding the hotel available to all guests.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

-          The hotel features an indoor heated swimming pool with sun deck.

-          Restaurants are within walking distance.

-      Shopping is nearby

-          Our guests are extended complimentary privileges at a nearby fitness center.

-          Other attractions are throughout the region such as The Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame, theme parks, etc.

·         After the Upstate meeting we will schedule our practice days for the summer. We will rotate the two a week practices between the south towns and north towns. We are at the mercy sometimes of other programs because we have to use their fields for practice. We tend to start out in Akron early in the season because their fields are dry and ready early.

GAME ASSIGNMENTS

If you can not make a date below please let me know asap so I can fill that spot. These may change because not everyone has given me their avail, and some were unsure. We will only take a set amount to each game. So for 9v9 we will take 15, and for 7v7 the max would be 13. So as it is now the only thing that will change is the Syracuse and Buffalo Friendlys.
