STATE CUP
The Buffalo United U14 Girls are 2008 State Cup Finalists for the New York West State Championship Series held in Cortland. The Team defeated the Delaware Invaders 2-1, tied the Syracuse Football Club 1-1 and defeated the Northtowns Thunder 2-1. They tied Syracuse Football Club with 2 wins, 1 tie and 7 points. Congratulations to the Syracuse Football Club who edged out Buffalo United for the championship by winning the goal differential tie breaker. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TEAM AND COACHES FOR A GREAT PERFORMANCE IN CORTLAND WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU !!!!!!

REGION 1 COLONIAL LEAGUE

Congratulations to the Buffalo United U14 Girls who won the Western division of the Region 1 Colonial League. The Team finished with a 5-1-1 record. They traveled to Kirkwood Delaware to compete in the championship game against PDA Charge, the Eastern division winners. Buffalo United lost 1-0 in hard fought battle against nationally ranked PDA Charge. GREAT JOB GIRLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulatuions to our Head Coach Mike Idland, He was named New York State West Olympic Development Program Coach Of The Year
